The Story
How this one came together
Not every garden is a neat square. This client had a long, narrow plot and needed a garden room that would run along the boundary without dominating the width. The 9m x 3m footprint was the answer.
We built a TGR Four layout with bi-folding doors on the front and a full-length feature window to bring light into the deeper sections of the room. The long internal span was divided into two zones: a workspace at one end and a lounge area at the other.
Despite the challenging footprint, the build went up in under two weeks. Ground screws, full insulation, thermowood cladding and complete electrics throughout. The finished room makes the most of every inch.
We had a long, narrow garden and most companies said it would not work. Tranquil designed a layout that fits perfectly. The room feels massive inside.
